Welcome to International School Eindhoven!

Whether your child is changing schools due to a relocation, starting school for the first time, or is already attending our school, at ISE we understand how important it is for you and your child to make the right choice. As a parent, you want to feel confident that your child’s school provides both a stimulating and safe learning environment. We take this responsibility seriously and are committed to providing exactly that. In this school guide, we explain how we achieve this together with you.

This school guide is intended for parents, guardians, and other members of our school community. It provides an introduction to our school and offers information about our educational vision, the organisation of learning, the support available to students, and practical matters such as school hours and holiday schedules.

This school guide is updated yearly and serves to inform you about all the ins and outs of the school. It has been prepared by ISE staff and leadership and has been approved by the School Participation Council (Medezeggenschapsraad, MR), It is also intended as a reference guide for parents whose children are already enrolled in our school.

Authorised supervision

Our school is part of SILFO (Stichting Internationaal en Lokaal Funderend Onderwijs), a foundation comprising six schools: the Stedelijk College Eindhoven (SCE), the Strabrecht College, the International School Eindhoven (ISE), the Global College Eindhoven, and the primary schools Beneden Beekloop and De Ganzebloem.

SILFO is governed by a Board of Directors and supervised by a Supervisory Board. The Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the schools within the foundation and holds ultimate responsibility for decisions concerning the school.

Each year, the Board of Directors is accountable to parents during the Parent–Board Evening, where the school’s finances and key developments are discussed. The Board of Directors can be contacted through the school.
